Current Core Needs

Donations

Task: Claris is always needing donations when it comes to diapers, wipes, hygiene kits, etc so please click HERE if you’d like to help women and families in need by providing them these supplies!

Student Intern/Volunteer for Mobile Medical Unit

Task: This is an exciting opportunity to bring much needed health care and support to some of the most vulnerable communities in L.A. County. We are looking for:

– Volunteer/Intern must have reliable transportation to meet us at our daily site & be comfortable interacting with diverse populations

– Volunteer/Intern must be flexible and willing to serve where needed including helping with set up, recruiting patients, assisting patients with paperwork, passing out resources and referrals, assisting with general cleaning, etc.

Timing: Wednesday, Thursday or Friday between 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. Ideally able to commit to a consistent schedule (I.E. Every Friday)

Baby Store Makeover

Task: Calling all organizers!

Our Baby Store, where families “shop” for baby necessities (including diapers, wipes, clothing, food, and equipment) is always in need of a refresher and at times a complete makeover. From sorting through new donations to tidying the room to organizing shelving units to creative design, this is a fun volunteer opportunity for individuals, families, or groups.

Timing: Various opportunities at our West LA & Lynwood site.

ĒMA Advocate

Task:

ĒMA is a court-approved, prevention program designed to advocate for moms in crisis. We pair moms-at-risk of losing their children into foster care with an ĒMA Advocate who provides holistic support, ensuring every mother has equal opportunity to achieve stability and keep their family together.

Timing:
    • 3-hour online training
    • 1-2 hours per week, flexible timing
    • 6-month commitment to the program
