As we step into March, the Parenting Team at Claris Health welcomes this new season of growth, renewal, and fresh perspective.
Spring reminds us that change doesn’t happen overnight — it begins beneath the surface. Whether you are parenting daily, co-parenting, or working toward reunification, the effort you are making today is planting seeds for tomorrow.
This month, our classes and workshops are focused on growth — building emotional skills, strengthening routines, and developing healthy habits that support both you and your child. Be sure to check our March calendar for opportunities to stay connected and encouraged.
Our focus this month is preparing for growth in small, intentional ways — because healthy families, like gardens, need care, patience, and consistency.
Parenting Tip of the Month:
Plant seeds now that will bloom later.
Refresh one routine.
Spring is a great time to reset one small daily habit — maybe a consistent bedtime, a weekly family meal, or a five-minute clean-up routine. Small structure creates stability for children of all ages.
Clear out what no longer serves you.
Just as we declutter our homes, we can also release habits that aren’t helping — harsh self-talk, unrealistic expectations, or old parenting patterns that don’t reflect who you want to become.
Nurture growth through encouragement.
Children thrive when their efforts are noticed. Try naming something specific you appreciate: “I saw how patient you were,” or “Thank you for trying again.” Encouragement builds confidence and resilience.
Care for yourself, too.
Growth requires energy. Prioritizing your physical, emotional, and mental health — especially for prenatal or postpartum moms — models balance and strength for your children.
Remember: Spring growth starts underground. Even when you can’t see immediate results, the steady work you’re doing matters. Keep watering the seeds — change is happening.
